If a silly rhyme gets your friend group out of the parking lot and into a restaurant, mission accomplished. If a coin flip ends a Monday meeting that was going absolutely nowhere, consider it a win. Your brain isn't being irrational when it trusts the nonsense pattern — it's being efficient. It's cutting the cognitive cost of a low-stakes decision so you can save your actual brainpower for something that matters.

Which, honestly? Sounds like something worth trusting.

Even if the rhyme that told you so is completely made up.
